President of Province of Pesaro and Urbino for WPCC

"Cycling is a sport that requires care, passion and sacrifice. Rather than with somebody else it’s a challenge with themselves, one’s own will power and perseverance. The province of Pesaro and Urbino territory gave cycling champions who were always proud of the jersey they put on. So, small wonder about the passion and the application that the organizers gave to the “Cycling for journalists World Championship”, an exciting contest and at the same time an important opportunity of promoting our landscape, cultural, architectural, historical heritage and food and wine specialities  of which we are very proud. I wish the journalist, who will race along the Adriatic Riviera, a good time  and I invite them to discover our beautiful territory that offers grate emotions and suggestions to tell also through communications".

Matteo Ricci
President of Province of Pesaro and Urbino
